Great experience! Tory went to facilities with  me that matched what I needed for my mom,asked questions that I did not think of asking.  Went to my Mom's new apartment and helped get it ready before move in. Brought in a shower chair for my mom that was free.  Located a moving company and scheduled the move time and day. Tory helped my husband and I find the perfect place for my parents to move. It was a very stressful time for our family, but Tory guided us through the entire process. She took us to multiple locations, personally showing us around and making sure we found the right fit for my parents needs. She truly went above and beyond for our family and has even stopped by to visit my parents since their move, which means so much to all of us. My father needed a memory care that could handle his challenging dementia related needs. After my mother's death his current memory care provider was not equipped to meet his needs. Tory helped with finding local memory care that was suited for my father's needs. She was able to find a facility and worked over the weekend to help us make a seamless transition. My experience with Tory Barcus began during a search for an appropriate living environment for an elderly parent. From the outset, Tory presented herself to be a highly knowledgeable and reliable ally who embraced our goal of obtaining a safe, caring, affordable, and healthy environment for my Dad. Her commitment to that goal made this new experience much more streamlined and understandable than it would have been otherwise. Tory's energy is infectious and was a key motivator for us when the emotional weight of having to place a loved one into a home became heavy. She explained, in detail, the challenges we would face during this process and ensured us that she would be with us every step of the way.  That promise was made and well kept!   In fact, during one disappointing period when a housing application fell through, Tory was immediately able to present an alternative that proved to be even better than the first one.  As a result,  my Dad is now in a comfortable and caring facility, where his well being is of utmost importance to a very capable staff. I am certain this would not have been possible if not for the incredible patience,  thoughtfulness,  determination,  and expertise Tory brings. In the span of 3 weeks, she gave our family the confidence to navigate the process of searching for suitable care. We are forever grateful for her and consider her to be a new and highly treasured friend.  I will very enthusiastically recommend her to everyone we encounter needing these services. Tory helped us find a community for my mother, and I can wholeheartedly recommend her service. Through the process I have never once felt like Tory had anything but our family’s interest in mind. She knows the assisted living communities in the Springs inside and out, stays current with any recent changes, and educates herself on current practices in elder care. She gives us valuable advice, helped us narrow our choices, and was with us on our first visit to each place. We weren’t quite ready to move just then, but she reassured us she would stick with us whether it took two months or two years. I work for an Assisted Living community here in town and Tory has been bringing people to me for years. I love working with Tory from Assisted Living Locators because she doesn't just help the families and move on, she comes and visits after they've moved in and even calls to check on them from time to time.
